Disconnected is the only real album he released, but since then there have been many compilations of his singles and EPs which are well worth checking out too. <font size="4" face="Arial">Stiv?s last album was called "Last Race". It is actually collection of demos that he made just before he died. And yes, it?s not that great. Some of the tracks on the album were also demoed by The Lords.
The story of Poison Heart is funny (how he stole the demo from DeeDee?s bag before DeeDee had time to offer the songs to Ramones...)

And yes, Disconnected is really one of the best records EVER, as is most of the stuff that Stiv did- Dead Boys, 1st Lords album, Wanderers and the BOMP-era singles (maybe my favourite stuff of his career. Can be found from L.A L.A or L.A Confidental-collections, out on BOMP. His version of The Choir?s "It?s Cold Outside" is a classic!).

About Million Miles Away- to me it?s Stiv, Hanoi AND Plimsouls [img]smile.gif[/img] They?re all amazing songs.

Yeah, that Poison Heart story is pretty funny. I read that in a book, but can't remember which one it was. Was it Dee Dee's biography? Poison Heart is better with the Ramones though.

With Stiv there is also that red cd. Can't remember the title of that either, but it has 2 albums on it. Think Night Of The Living Dead Boys and a compilation of BOMP singles. The cover of the CD is completely red and he's standing there with a pirtate shirt and suit jacket on with the 2 original album covers by his side.

If you have Dissconnected, the red one and LA LA you're pretty much set with Stiv Bators solo stuff I think.

It would?ve been great if The Whores of Babylon would?ve actually get something done....(Stiv, DeeDee and Johnny Thunders). In "Last Race" it says that they all play in it, but I?ve read from many sources that it isn?t true.

The red cd is "Night of the Living Dead Boys" and "The Lord and The New Creatures", which is actually French version of "Disconnected".

Great power pop-band from the 80?s, formed by Peter Case who was also in The Nerves- probably the BEST power pop-band ever (they did the original version of Blondie?s "Hanging on the telephone). I can upload their Million Miles Away at somepoint when I get home.
